DESENHO: Poetry night

Poetry Night - Saturday, 30 November, 6 - 8pm
An evening dedicated to poetry readings in different languages, looking at the relationship between drawing and poetry. Readings will include those by Alex Priestley, Becca Drake, and Gilles Madan.
This event is part of the drawing show, which will present work by a group of artists connected to Portugal, co-curated by artists Nuno Gonçalves and Joana Galego, who studied together at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon between 2012 and 2016.
Bios:
Nuno Gonçalves is an artist based in Portugal.
Joana Galego is based in London. She completed The Drawing Year at the Royal Drawing School (2017). Her solo exhibitions include 'jardins' at Galeria Belard, Lisbon, (2024) and 'mole lunar sinal' at Soho Revue, London, (2023).
